Travel Manager's Dilemma: Balancing Company Needs and Traveller's Wants

This report examines the plight of the beleaguered travel manager, who is caught in the middle of juggling the company's mandates for cost reduction, risk and duty-of-care management, and the traveller's demands. 


Although leaders are likely to have policies in place, there is a lot of room for improvements.To get ahead, travel managers must upgrade their capabilities and outdated systems, which are ill equipped to manage the speed of consumer applications at the fingertips of the travellers.

This report looks at the capabilities that leaders have in place compared to followers that enable them to manage the company vs. traveller differences.
